I'm a final year master's student writing my thesis on how TikTok fashion content (hauls, try ons, reviews, GRWM) shapes the way people perceive fast fashion brands. Shein is my case study. Qualitative semi structured interviews, targeting around 15 participants.

Posting here because honestly you're the people most likely to understand the recruitment struggle, and if any of you happen to fit the profile, you'd be saving me weeks.

Who I'm looking for:

• TikTok users who get fashion content on their FYP
• know Shein (shop there or not, both perspectives are valuable)
• 18+, any country, any field of study

What it involves:

• 30 min video call (Zoom or Google Meet)
• camera optional, audio only is fine
• recorded for transcription, deleted after submission
• fully anonymous in the final paper
• conversational, not formal

To make the research worthwhile I need to actually talk to people, and this sub is honestly the perfect place to find them.

• recorded just so I can transcribe it after (recording is deleted once the thesis is done)
• fully anonymous in the final paper (no names, no usernames, nothing identifying)
• super casual, just a conversation about your TikTok feed, your thoughts on Shein, what you've bought or why you haven't, there are no right or wrong answers

Je suis en dernière année de master et je bosse sur mon mémoire de fin d'études. Le sujet : comment les contenus mode sur TikTok influencent la perception qu'on a des marques de fast fashion, avec Shein comme cas d'étude.

Pour la partie terrain j'ai besoin de faire des entretiens, et je galère un peu à trouver assez de participants donc je tente ma chance ici.

Je cherche des gens qui :

• utilisent TikTok régulièrement
• voient passer du contenu mode sur leur feed (hauls, try-on, avis, etc.)
• connaissent Shein (que vous achetiez ou pas, les deux m'intéressent)

Concrètement ça donne quoi :

• un appel visio de 30 min (Zoom ou Meet, ce qui vous arrange)
• enregistré pour que je puisse retranscrire après
• pas besoin d'allumer la caméra, juste le micro suffit
• 100% anonyme dans le mémoire final
• on parle de votre rapport à TikTok, à la mode, à Shein, y a pas de bonnes ou mauvaises réponses, c'est juste votre expérience qui m'intéresse
