ISO a professional who can install a unit similar to the one pictured.

I contacted a general contractor who came to look at the unit being replaced. He quoted me 3200 for the new Trane unit (2nd and 3rd pic) not including install.

I'm a woman and know nothing about this stuff so naturally I'm going to ask questions. First, I asked for a pic of the unit which he sent to me the following week. When I got the pic, I was surprised and thought it was gonna look different for 3200. The unit in the 1st pic is being sold at Lowe's for $1044 with 15000 BTU. When I asked about the BTU for the Trane unit, he's never responded. He probably felt insulted but am I not supposed to ask questions? I feel like if a service provider doesn't want the customer to ask questions, they're in the wrong line of work.

How much would one charge for the install?

I have an older home with an enclosed patio and one of those AC/heater units like the one at hotels. Anyhow, it needs replacing and I've just been quoted $3200 for the unit pictured. I've not been sent any specs or anything. Additionally I've found similar units online for $1100 and less. 3k just seems a lot for a one room unit. Thoughts?
