For background I am a new tech, started at wags on Sept 2025. My pharmacy is a tier 4 and we had 3 pharmacies close down around us this past year, leaving our store, a 24hr Walgreens and another tier 4 both about 20 mins away from us. Since January I’ve seen an influx in patients coming into the pharmacy and I’m always stuck in drive or the out. But it’s the out window that gets to me, I always have a line going down the aisle with 10+ ppl. No matter how much I rush and speed up I just can’t get kill that line down. I swear I go as fast as I can but there are some customers that have questions and also I don’t want to rush to the point of mistakes. I just can’t anymore, every single day I come to work it’s the same thing over and over. I also know that the other techs don’t like having to help me with the lines.
Honestly, I like the job that’s why I’m still holding up. And also get good hours (30/w) while going to college. And vaccine certified which is a plus. But it’s just the fact that I can’t get those lines out stress me out so much, I don’t want to be seen as I incompetent or an unqualified employee. Also Im scared that this could be a reason for termination?
I don’t know what else to do, any advice on how to go on about this?
