Hi im a 19 year old male who is gonna fly on the 27th of July till 4th of august this year. But the problem is. I only have a valid residency permit and a passport who’s not valid anymore since 2018. I would like to fly with Ryanair From Brussels to Malta and back (its a boys trip i REALLY would like to have🥲). But everywhere they’re saying that they would not let me board. Here is the thing, last year i flew with vueling and ryanair from Brussels to Barcelona with the same situation and they let me through. But i had some little perks that i chose on purpose 1 was i had priority so i did not have to check in i only needed to check in online. And there were little poarts where i needed to scan my boarding pass to get through and go ahead to the gate. While boarding i showed my residence card and they stopped me (my heart sank). They gave it to another college and she said i could not board with only that card so i showed my passport from 2018 (btw its a cameroonian passport 🇨🇲). She looked further upon and set me aside and called a supervisor who she talked with for like 2 mins and then she said i could board (couldn’t have been happier in my life). So yeah that was that. Now i dont know if i should bet again cause my new pasport will only come next year and i really wanna have this trip. Please can someone advice me ? Would be greatly appreciated
