I was thinking about lightweight "gifts" that I can give fellow pilgrims to remember me by, and while struggling to think of sentimental things that were virtually weightless, I thought of carving my own rubber stamp! I love crafts and thought that it may be fun to offer my own stamp to friends i make along the way.

I was wondering if anyone has done/experienced this before, and how you'd feel if you were offered a sello from another pilgrim? I was also thinking about making threaded bracelets (which is much more of a gift), but this is something I can share with countless people!

One of my favorite things to learn about when it comes to pilgrims' packing lists are how many/what kind of clothes they brought. While its of little thought to some, I find clothing to be so personal and individualistic, so i'd love to hear how you all made it work for you!

For my upcoming camino, i'm planning on bringing the following! (minus intimate items lol)

  • two short sleeve shirts
  • one long sleeve shirt
  • one hiking pant
  • two hiking shorts
  • (virtually weightless) tank top
  • rest outfit: lightweight maxi skirt + t-shirt
  • quarter-zip fleece (for cold mornings + evenings)
  • lightweight vest

(+ a super small packable poncho (I’m walking in late June so I doubt it’ll rain))
