Anyone else noticing embedded advertising in profiles lately?

I’ve been seeing profiles that look suspiciously AI with clear brand placement. A mention of Nike in the bio that seems out of place. A cap or beanie with a logo that looks a little too pristine. Often the same brand called out or placed in a series of profiles back to back, clearly I’m their target demographic and they’ve paid for repeat exposure on profiles like mine.

Not at all surprising. This is exactly the kind of corporate slop I expected AI to be used for. But just a buzzkill reminder that nothing is sacred anymore. Gotta monetize those lonely hearts.
