GCC Droppings Advice

GCC Droppings Advice

Hi everyone, just wanting some advice about my green cheek conure

I got him in December when he was only a few weeks old, and yesterday I noticed he was sitting a bit fluffed up which is unusual for him. It’s also starting to get colder here in Tasmania and the weather has been super unpredictable lately, so I’ve accidentally forgotten to leave the heater on a few times because I don’t want to absolutely cook my flock of three so i thought he may just be a little cold and thats why hes fluffed up.

For context, I have a lorikeet, conure and cockatiel. The conure is my newest addition, but I have owned a pair of conures previously and I’ve never seen this kind of dropping from them before.

This was his morning poop when I first uncovered him (or one of them since it’s pretty small?!). Should I be worried about this, or could it just be normal digestion/diet related?

His diet is mainly Birdzone conure pellet mix, and yesterday he also had carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, corn, cabbage and mizuna.

He’s still eating and acting mostly normal otherwise, I’m just a bit paranoid because I know birds hide illness well 😅

Hey everyone,

I’m pretty new to content creation and looking to upgrade from my iPhone to something with better quality. I’ve owned a bunch of older digital cameras (early 2000s) and a canon eos 1200D, but nothing super advanced, so I’m still learning when it comes to specs and what actually matters.

After watching way too many reviews and comparison videos, I’m honestly just overwhelmed and not sure what’s actually worth it for my budget.

I’m based in Australia and looking to spend under $500 AUD. I know that’s on the lower end for cameras, but since I’m just starting out, I’m mainly after the best value for money, not anything high-end.

Content-wise, I’ll mostly be doing vlogs (under an hour), usually at home, sometimes in louder environments. I post on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, mainly shop vlogs and product reviews filmed indoors. I’d also like something fairly easy to carry around but not too bothered by larger cameras.

I’m open to buying new or used. New would be ideal, but I’m totally fine with second-hand if it means getting better value and I can find something decent here in Australia.

Feature-wise, I don’t have any strict must-haves, but a flip screen would definitely be a big plus so I can see myself while filming to ensure I stay in frame.

I’ve looked at options like the Sony ZV-1F, Sony ZV-E10, Kodak Pixpro FZ55, and a few others, but most are either out of my budget or hard to find second-hand at a good price here.

I’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice! I’m keen to buy something soon, I just don’t want to make the wrong choice with so many options out there
