Got screwed by the whole trade in process
Rant but traded in my old 2017 MBP to get a new MBA. Checked the status online once they received my trade in and it said they confirmed the condition of my trade in(took almost two weeks once I sent it in). Flash forward 2 days later once the return window has officially closed and I get an email now saying that it is damaged and they are offering $10… They attach photos of this giant gash across the screen that wasn’t there and their only solution is to have me deny the $10 and have it sent back. They have my laptop laying on a metal conveyer belt in the photo and deny any possibility that they may have damaged it.
Lesson learned that even a legit company can’t be trusted and I should have taken photos before sending it in.
