I was playing my favourite game on the franchise (Sniper Elite 4) and going with my playthrough normally, I always did enjoy reading the Allied Intel of enemies as well as the letters and that's when I was playing the DLC of Deathstorm 3, the one set on the German town of Steigerloch
I targeted and read the Intel of one of the infantrymen named Hans Axmann as I did on the last 5 playthroughs "Frequently talks about the woman he loves" ok, big deal, he also had a Last Letter on his body that is something on the lines of "My dear Fanny, do you recall that night where you allowed me to take you for whole? Where our bodies united and become one and only? I dream with another night like that"
I thought "kinky" and kept going on with my game, but then I found a Letter from Home that I didn't find on my previous times playing said map, a letter from Fanny to Axmann
"Hans Axmann, you're a demon
I hope you rot in hell for what you did to me, I will never forget and forgive
Fanny"
On that moment I put two and two together and everything made sense and what I realized was downright disturbing, Axmann had a completely different perception of that night and that moment than Fanny did
I think I'll never be done praising just how fantastic, well-done and crafted the parallel stories of SE4 are and how much they add to gameplay, it must be one of the most creative pieces of miscellaneous I've ever seen on a gane
