Any advice for discussing circumcision with partners?
Hey everyone, I'm just looking for some advice on how to tackle the circumcision discussion with my wife.
For a bit of background, I'm 30 and have been dealing with a little bit of tightness for probably about 8 years. I've tried all the usual non-surgical approaches but haven't found much success. I've attempted to go the NHS route, but it seems to be minor enough that my doctor won't refer me for the surgery. I'm now considering going private to be done with it, but obviously it would be a cost burden that we'd both have to deal with.
Anyway, I'm not sure how to approach the topic with her. We had a discussion about it early into our marriage, where she wasn't very supportive, taking the stance that if it's not medically necessary then it's pointless to do. I tried to explain that it's more to do with my comfort and confidence, but very much felt like a hard no. I'm now at the point where I'm just done waiting. Obviously I want to get her onboard, especially with it now potentially coming at a cost.
Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone has been in a similar position or has any advice? Thanks in advance!
