hi all! i’m a female (20) and im single, actively dating (or trying to) date in nyc. i have been trying the dating scene in the city for a couple months now. i’ve tried the apps but have had little success from the dates ive been on/tried to plan. i’ve kind of resorted to meeting someone in person.
the other night, i went to a concert solo. i saw this guy i thought was cute, we locked eyes and we kept checking each other out. eventually at the end of the night, i saw him again and decided to ask for his number. he quickly resonated and we engaged in conversation for about 10 min. i then decided to say my goodbye. he hugged me, and proceeded to say “text me”.
i went on with the rest of my night and texted him the next morning. i said “hey! how was the rest of ur night?” while reminding him my name. no response. it’s been two days and honestly this is just a confusing situation and can’t seem to catch a break from the ghosting virus of gen z.
is he not into me? coming to this forum for advice and maybe an explanation. this has happened a few times and genuinely at my wits end.
