2016 Subaru Outback grinding noise when coming to a stop

I recently replaced pads and rotors on all 4 corners of my 2016 Subaru outback. All was good for a while until it started making a metal on metal grinding noise when coming to a stop. I took the front apart again (where it seemed to be coming from) and found that the bolt holding the caliper to the lower glide pin on the passenger side had come loose and fallen out. I put a new bolt in, greased everything again while I was there, torqued it to spec plus a bit more this time, and put it back together.

However, the noise is still there. It only happens after I've been driving and braking, after everything is warmed up. So, I took the front apart again and discovered that the passenger side caliper piston face and the back of the inside brake pad seem to be much more beat up than the corresponding parts on the driver's side. Is it possible this damage, which probably happened when the slide bolt fell out, is the source of my noise? If so would new pads be enough, or do I need to change the caliper too?

Pictures are, in order: the passenger side inner pad, driver's side inner pad, passenger side caliper, and driver's side caliper.

2016 Subaru Outback 2.5l noise diagnosis

I just finished replacing both front wheel bearings in my 2016 Subaru outback because they were making a bad warbling noise. I did the passenger side first and tried just about everything I could think of to get the hub out with no success before deciding to pull the knuckle and hammer it out on my bench, so I started by doing this on the driver's side and it went much smoother. I also ended up replacing both lower ball joints while I had the knuckles out.

However, when test driving the car I heard an intermittent squealing noise that seems to be coming from my passenger side. It only starts after about 20 minutes of driving, and I can't reliably reproduce it. Sometimes it's when turning (usually between 10-20⁰ to the right), sometimes when braking. It usually goes away within a few seconds of taking my foot off the brake and straightening the wheel, but sometimes it continues for longer. To me it sounds like something rubbing against the rotating assembly, almost like a pad wear indicator. I checked the brake heat shield for bends from being whacked by a wayward hammer blow but it looks okay. Does anyone have any advice on what could be making this noise?
