ALIENTEK C2 V2.3.5 supports eMarker copying.

The evolution of the ALIENTEK C2 is unstoppable. There's no time to be releasing the C0. I bet even WITRN is surprised.

V2.3.5

  1. Adjusted the automatic detection and triggering options for better handling of different charging heads.
  2. Optimized some VFCP triggering and detection, now displaying the charging speed and other information.
  3. Supports copying eMarkers. When an eMarker is detected, a pop-up window appears after middle-clicking; clicking again copies the eMarker, supporting a maximum of two copies.
  4. Resolved issue where the host computer's detection triggering did not respond based on the eMarker settings.
  5. Other optimizations.

I'm looking for a receptacle with the smallest possible 5.1kΩ pull-down resistor.

Even now, cheap Chinese-made equipment often lacks the required pull-down resistor, which is frustrating. Recently, adapters like HaGiBiS have been released, but I'd prefer to have it built-in rather than attached to the cable.

Extremely short receptacles are difficult to solder, and the small contact area makes them unreliable for durability once fixed in place. I found this on AliExpress. It looks like it might just barely fit. I guess the only way to fix it in place is to solidify it with epoxy resin.

Do any of you have a good replacement method?

Following the ATORCH T3 and ALIENTEK C0, the RYKEN RK-X3se has arrived. It uses the CH32L103 chip, and it's impressive that it manages to do so well with a 64KB program. However, like the WITRN CC1, it required two different firmware versions.

Will the market continue to be divided into these inexpensive, feature-limited types and high-priced, feature-rich types?

In this age of smartphones, why are USB testers still forced to use confusing four-button controls? The ATORCH T3 frees you from this frustration. While it boasts the same 1.54-inch 240x240 pixel screen as the KM003C and ALIENTEK C2, it features a touchscreen.

Screen transitions are also remarkably smooth. Available for just over $10, it lacks features like eMarker or charging protocol analysis.

Let's dream of a future where USB testers no longer require four buttons.
