Interior design & fit-out company in Dubai

Running an interior design & fit-out company in Dubai has honestly been much harder this year than I expected.

We’ve been operating for years with our own manufacturing setup, execution team, designers, and project managers. We’ve completed villa renovations and fit-out work in areas like Emirates Hills, Meadows, Jumeirah Golf Estates, and a few office projects as well. The work itself has never been the issue - we’ve delivered good projects and built a solid team around execution quality.

But lately, the market feels extremely slow.

I’m curious if others in real estate, construction, interiors, or fit-out are experiencing the same thing right now.

Are villa renovations slowing down overall?
Are end users delaying upgrades because of property prices?
Or is the market simply becoming oversaturated with agencies and contractors?

Would genuinely love to hear perspectives from brokers, homeowners, developers, or anyone active in the Dubai property market.

And if anyone here has recently renovated their home or office, I’d also be interested to know what mattered most when choosing a contractor -pricing, trust, speed, design quality, or previous work?
