In honor of my little bestie who crossed over the rainbow bridge last week after 13 wonderful years together. ❤️

Little miss Gigi was adopted by my family in 2013 as a ~2 year old rescue from Puerto Rico. I don’t remember if they gave us a guess as to her breed, but we never really made any assumptions. My sister asked for an Embark test one year for Xmas and until recently I had never seen the results.

People stopped us allllll the time to say she was the cutest dog they had ever seen. She was extremely silly and we absolutely adored her. She only ever walked on your left on the leash. She loved to try and eat worms off the sidewalk after it rained. She was tentative around strangers, but a complete snuggle bug with anyone she got to know. She was the most food motivated dog I’ve ever met and had a nose like a bloodhound for treats and snacks. She loved to roll around on her back on the carpet when she woke up for a good morning scratch. She was the best girl and is completely irreplaceable and I miss her dearly.
