Muslim perspective on subliminals & manifestation, to my muslims brothers and sisters please help.
Hi everyone. I’m Muslim, and I’ve been thinking deeply about subliminals and manifestation recently. I wanted to ask if anyone here has a similar perspective or experience.
First of all, I want to clarify that I do not believe subliminals, manifestation, or the universe have power on their own. As a Muslim, I believe only Allah decides what happens and only Allah gives results. I would never want to commit shirk or believe in another power besides Him.
For me, manifestation is more about mindset, motivation, confidence, discipline, and having positive expectations. I’ve noticed that when I think positively, stay focused on my goals, and believe good things are possible, I usually work harder and become more confident, which helps me achieve things in life.
Sometimes I do:
• scripting/journaling,
• affirmations,
• visualization,
• and listening to subliminals.
But I see these as psychological tools to improve my mindset and energy, not as magical or spiritual powers.
What makes me confused is that a lot of manifestation communities talk about:
• “the universe,”
• vibrations/frequencies,
• “you create reality,”
• or spiritual concepts that don’t really align with my beliefs.
That part makes me uncomfortable.
So I wanted to ask:
• Can subliminals and manifestation be used in a harmless/self-improvement way without conflicting with Islam?
• Are there other Muslims here who use subliminals only for motivation and mindset?
• Where do you think the line is between self-improvement and beliefs that go against religion?
I’d really appreciate respectful opinions and experiences. Thank you.
