Alright guys hear me out....I've been secluding myself in the forge and performing machine rights to find a way to make a list with Cawl and Thulia work in a list together. For most of 10th I've been an SHC player, using full 10 man bricks of sicarians pteraxii. After playing a few games into defilers and realizing that even large units are just getting easier for opponents to kill, I decided to switch to erad cohort with a more MSU approach in mind. I played into my friend's Dark angels list last night, and let me tell you guys, our two monsters do some serious work in a list together. He was so concerned about the dangers potential from my sicarians that he was leaving pteraxii alone to just screen and score points. The detachment rule of rerolling 1's in shooting pairs so well with Cawl's rerolls. The disintegrator tanks are disgusting because they are hitting on 2s rerolling 1s into vehicles and monsters, so you can make your reroll target whatever you want to shoot with ballistari or charge with sicarians with charge mortals or lance. I just kept Thulia surrounded by sicarians and used her double doctrine buff on them to send them into my opponents natural, and that way I was just able to stay in protector protocol the whole game.
