Garmin Edge 530, doubts/questions about screens and synchronization with Garmin Fenix 7X
Hi everyone,
I have a Garmin Edge 530 and a Garmin Fenix 7X.
I have some doubts about these two screens on the Garmin 530:
In the first one, I don’t understand the two dots circled in red. They keep moving continuously and I can’t figure out what they mean.
In the second one, what does “remaining gradient” mean? A few days ago I was riding on a section where the remaining gradient was 12%, but then for about 500 meters the instant gradient was 24%. 🤔
Another doubt concerns synchronization with the health data from the Fenix 7X (heart rate and other indicators). I read that it’s necessary to enable Physio TrueUp.
On the Garmin website, the instructions are these:
I tried all the possible options, but I couldn’t find “Enable Physio TrueUp”.
However, I found another solution, although I’m not sure whether it’s the current ‘official’ one or not.
Going into the Fenix settings: Sensors & Accessories -> Wrist Heart Rate -> Transmit HR
At that point, the watch asks me if I want to activate it.
If I then go to the Garmin 530 and search for sensors, it finds the Fenix as a heart rate sensor.
If I start the activity with the 530, it correctly monitors my heart rate.
However, I noticed that every time I start a new activity, I have to remember to go to the Fenix and enable the transmission again.
Do any of you have different experiences regarding this?
Thanks
