I FINALLY PASSED - third attempt

Been on this subreddit for a while- I found my driving journey full of so many ups and downs. Started to resent it until I managed to get a last minute cancellation for a test in a few days time.

I had failed my previous tests with 1 fault each and 0 minors, each time excruciatingly upset. I didn’t put as much weight on this test as it came up so short notice and the lack of nerves paid off.

Passed with 0 minors, my test was at 7:30 (I had to leave my house at 4:30 am to get there!) in Wood Green London. Roads were practically empty. Examiner was so kind and relaxed and we just chatted the whole time. He even gave me several hints and tips, and was lenient when signs were covered by buses or trucks, or when lanes were confusing. I was so surprised he did this as my first two examiners gave me no mercy!

I’m so glad to wrap up this journey. Good luck to everyone out there!

Failed my second test last week- really distraught as I failed with a near perfect test- 0 minors!

Really smashed my confidence and wanted to quit. Tried to sit back in a car for a lesson last weekend and had to get out of the car because I suddenly felt so ridden with anxiety. I feel a bit burnt out.

My next test WAS for August- but a cancellation app got me a test for next week…… I didn’t think it would be so soon!

Now I have one week to change my attitude because I really want to pass this! I can’t let my anxiety get the best of me, I’ve failed twice now with just one fault. I haven’t told anyone in my life I’m taking this test either. Let’s hope anxiety doesn’t get the best of me but I’m currently feeling quite excited knowing my test is now so close and I don’t need to wait so many months!

Any tips for a last minute test would be great
