Rx 6900xt flickering and no signal when installing drivers.
Can't wrap my head on this card being faulty as it doesn't tick the boxes. SYSTEM:
RX 6900 XT XFX 319 Swft
Ryzen 5 5600x
2x8gb Ram ddr4
Gigabyte Aorus Elite B550 mATX
Be quiet! Power zone 2 750w
I built this pc without a single problem. All components were new box, even the gpu. Installed drivers, alll was fine, ran furmark, got 16668 score. Ran cpu/ram tests, all good no errors.
Installed Cyberpunk and got some good fps while on heavy settings like RT and PT at ultra, on 1080p.
Pc was was fine for a couple of hours until my brother put it to sleep. When i turned it on screen froze. Went through hell of uninstalling drivers and now i've tried every possible method of getting it to not lose signal after flickering when installing new drivers.
Is there a chance hardware failed after just a couple of hours? Could it be the PSU? My monitor is also shitty, 1900x1080p 60hz old samsung 24 inch with Display port.
I've tried:
DDU clean and reinstall, MPO Registry tweak, pcle 3 and 2, disabled xmp, bootable linux ubuntu to test gpu (no display), reseating to different pcle slot on motherboard, two different pcle pins to it.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
