a little background information my friend has been hopping from girlfriend to girlfriend for a couple months now, and he’s met all of them online. At first i was happy for him getting all the attention, but once he started going through them i was feeling that it was kinda weird.
His most recent one was surprisingly good looking, model-like. And my friend is just average so i was a little suspicious from the start joking with him that “she’s ai!” “she’s being paid to do this”. The more i thought about it the more it seemed weird. I consulted one of my friends who heard about this so we checked the girls instagram details, it was made quite recently. But the account had over a thousand followers so i didn’t suspect much before i asked my friend.
we reversed image searched some of her photos online and found that some were indeed from the internet! I quickly messaged him and he said after he questioned her a bit and then finally decided to block her. I honestly felt pretty good finding out she was catfishing him.
When i met him in person he seemed pretty bummed which is totally understandable. I talked to him about it but suddenly he blew up asking me “why did you tell me??” which i responded with “cuz i care about u” and he said “someone who actually cared wouldn’t have told me!” i was seriously taken aback on how stupid this claim was. I felt kinda sorry for that AITAH?
