Hiya! My partner (20 F) and I (21 F) are moving to Canada in January 2027. It is our first time working abroad and I wanted to hear the communities general tips and advice for working our way around. I am still planning our route of travel, but have a good rough idea to work from east to west. I plan to start in Vancouver, go up to whistler, drive through the Rockies and then into Calgary and Banff. We are both extremely bubbly Australian’s with a can do attitude. We are both physically fit and I am hoping we will find work easily.
I am exceptionally curious about any small towns with awesome energy and beauty. If anyone has a beautiful town recommendation or place to work I would love to hear about it.
I know this is a bit of a ramble but I would appreciate anything anyone has to say!!
