So I got placed at Infosys as a Systems Engineer through my college's on-campus drive. The thing is, I haven't received any LOI or official offer letter yet — I only accepted the offer through an Excel sheet during the placement process.
I want to apply for Infosys off-campus drives for DSE and SP roles (up to ₹21 LPA) for a better package. Seems like it should be fine since there's no formal offer letter involved?
My questions:
Has anyone here done this successfully?
Did Infosys flag it or cause any issues during background verification?
Should I be worried about my college's placement cell finding out?
Any tips for cracking the SP/DSE assessment?
For context — I'm a 2026 batch student, 60%+ throughout, no backlogs. Just don't want to settle for the SE package when there's a legit upgrade path available.
