I am officially quitting today. I don't mind not working there again as I have a job much more aligned with my career now and paying twice the amount, my coach and one of my team leads at my store has not liked me since I started and they have caused me to feel very unwelcome there, as well as always judging me. The older women cause lots of drama/spread rumors about other workers too I don't want to be in an environment like that. Otherwise i was friends with everyone else and it was fun while it lasted.
I have started the new job today and did not have the opportunity as I was out of town the past week to go in person. I would like to send an email stating i'm grateful for the opportunity my HR and manager has given me (as they immediately hired me when i moved here and very lenient with me being student in college) and also notifying them that today is my day of resignation. How should I go about with the email? Please be kind, I know this doesn't matter to some of you to leave on better terms.
