As the title states, I’ve been dealing with these crater like acne spots for years. They start out as a deep, painful cystic-like spot that eventually gets to the point that it feels like it needs to pop.
(I know, I shouldn’t mess with them…that’s beside the point)
Eventually they get to this point where they turn into a crater looking spot that gave these white hair-like things sticking out of the base of the crater that, when pulled with tweezers, are very difficult to pull off the skin. If I do get one out, I can feel that it’s like a firm long skinny version of what I would think would come out of a normal pimple. When I get one out, the spot bleeds very quickly but stops bleeding quickly as well.
If I attempt to pull one out but lose my grip on it with the tweezers, it’s like it disappears into my skin where I can’t see it anymore.
I can always tell when one needs to be pulled out because if anything touches it or the skin around jt, it feels like a piece of glass is in my skin.
Once it seems as if I get them all out, the spot seems to go away.
I’ve been using Curology which seems to have helped slightly..but I’m still getting them mostly in my t-zone and they still last weeks to up to 2 months.
