im looking to buy a used macbook, i mainly need it for after effects as i do motion graphics, video editing, also need it for uni as well, please keep in mind budget is a big thing for me, around 1150 dollars. Since the pc parts price have increased a lot and i need for uni i am switching to a laptop. my current pc specs are

i5 12th ddr4, 32gb ram ddr4, gtx 1050ti(bottlenecking my cpu)|

btw the type of animations i do are SaaS, UI, lyrics motion graphics for which i need a lot of layers and a lot of sapphire and bcc, it needs to perform at least better than my current pc because with my current pc i can get the work done

i mainly need it only for after effects, making sure it has smooth previews and playback, medium speed rendering, 1200 dollar is my budget and of course i will buying used ones i need to consider buying a ssd storage with enclosure as well, and i can't afford the pro models, also i noticed the macbook air m4 24gb is a bit cheaper than the mac mini 24gb model, my after effects projects are quite timeline heavy and effects heavy, i am considering macbook air since i need to commute a lot, have uni as well.

my current pc is 12th gen i5 ddr4, ddr4 motherboard, ddr4 32gb ram and nvdia 1050ti, i can't afford to upgrade to newer parts as its more expensive and mac is more optimized for work like this
