Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share my recent experience. First off, I have to praise the E7 Pro 2026 base itself—the quality is truly amazing, the assembly process was straightforward, and the integrated cable management is awesome. Five stars for the frame.
However, I've run into the same quality problem with the Multiplex Tabletop that others have mentioned here. The top is a huge disappointment.
After using the desk for only a few days, being super careful, the surface is scratching ridiculously easily. I sent customer service a video showing that even "soft" scratches made by just a fingernail remain and cannot be removed. It’s a clear quality defect in the material.
I reached out and referenced a previous case on this subreddit where a customer got a full refund for the exact same issue https://www.reddit.com/r/FlexiSpot_Official/s/5FCiyq6Q1Z.
So far, the options they’ve offered me are:
- Full Replacement: They offered to send a new tabletop, but I questioned why I would want a replacement made of the same material that is "most likely" to have the same scratching issues. Their response was that they "can't guarantee the same top will still have scratches."
- Partial Refund of €55: This was offered to compensate me and save me from a "lengthy replacement process," since they claim the top is "still fully functional."
Frankly, getting offered €55 for a clearly defective, premium-priced product feels inadequate, especially since I know they’ve issued full refunds for this exact, recurring problem before.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue recently? What did you guys end up doing?
