Run Clubs - Inconsiderate?
Fed up with run clubs colonising whole spaces. This track has been overtaken by run clubs, particularly this group wearing the blue tank top (does anyone know who they are?). They would either take up many lanes in big groups or run in a single file where the file is so long that if you happen to be running in that lane, the whole line will try to overtake you by cutting into your lane instead of just running around you. To make things worse, they brought photographers with professional cameras who squat on the track and aim them at everyone, an invasion of privacy that is explicitly against Sport Singapore rules.
I appeal to run club organisers to impose a list of house rules to ensure that your club does not inconvenience other runners. To the stadium management, please limit cluster sizes in these confined spaces or propose other solutions. And please enforce the no-camera rule!
Has anyone experienced similar? What rules would you all suggest for running clubs?
