why can i see blood vessels when i put my hand over a flashlight but not my bones?

i put the phone flashlight over my hand today and went huh why cant i see the shape of my bones when i can see blood vessels.....(i might be using the wrong name but yk those veins you got inside you?? that thingy)

shouldn't there be like a shadow or something where the light cant shine though?

this is canmake's cream cheek blush in shade 05 (sweet apricot) which shows up as more pink instead of the warm orangeish color that i see from online.... does anyone have this issue with warm blushes? i also feel like this color makes me look green although that could be just in my head.
