Am I better off buying Used/CPO?
Currently looking into my first Porsche. The GT3/GT3-RS has been my dream car for about as long as I can remember. I'm on the wait list but the dealer wants to get me into a Carrera GTS in exchange for dropping the ADM once I receive an allocation. I'm not opposed to this but here's my thoughts.
Whatever I end up buying, I plan on putting a LOT of miles on. Because of this, I'm wondering if I'm better off buying CPO and skipping the charade. There's plenty of nicely spec'd 991.2 RSs and 992.1 GT3s that I would love to own. I'm even considering a 992.1 Turbo S. I know there's some intrinsic value in ordering your own personal spec but quite honestly, I can get close enough on the used market and I'm not all that picky.
I'd be interested to hear some thoughts on this.
