I didn't see anything about this after multiple searches. You all may already know this?

Context:

Moved into a new house. I'm working on getting all my ethernet cables terminated. In the bedroom, there is a Roku TV and a Beam gen1. Both connected to a 5-port switch, but not yet connected to my LAN backbone.

TV says wired connection "good". I made sure it did not have a wireless connection. Activity LED's on the switch on both ports are active.

The fucking TV works / streams fine. "Connection health" says wired is "good", at 11mbps.

Conclusion:

I can only assume the wifi connection of the Beam is being backfed thrugh the ethernet cable -> switch -> TV.

EDIT 1: My home Wifi gets about 800mbps to an iPhone. Yes, there are other hardwired Sonos devices in the network, so the Beam is either using Sonosnet or my Wifi LAN to backfeed into the TV via ethernet cable for YoutubeTV.
