WYR take a plea deal for 10 years in prison or go to trial and face life in prison?
Would you rather take a plea deal for 10 years guaranteed, or risk going to trial where you could walk free but also possibly get life in prison if you lose? You are accused of murdering someone you are very close to. You are innocent and did not do this. You do not have an alibi, the only suspect, blood on the victim is somehow on your shirt, and they have a convincing motive. If you take the plea deal you have to admit you are guilty.
