I’m a 26-year-old trans woman (MtF) living in North York (near Bathurst/Finch). I am finally ready to start HRT, but I am hitting a wall and could really use some help from the local community.
My situation:
• No Family Doctor: I don't have a GP and have only been using walk-in clinics.
• Budget: I cannot afford private clinics like Foria/Connect-Clinic right now. I need something covered by OHIP or a community health centre that is free.
• Model: I’m looking for a provider that uses Informed Consent.
I’ve checked a few places online, but they either have terrible reviews or their waitlists are closed (tried Safer Six, but they are at capacity). I'm willing to travel downtown via TTC if I have to, but something in North York or along the Yonge line would be amazing.
