Area manager loop interview help

Hey everyone,

I recently got shortlisted for Amazon’s Graduate Area/Shift Manager final interview loop (3 interviews × 45 mins), and I wanted some advice from people who’ve already gone through it.

How did you prepare your Leadership Principle stories?
- How many stories are enough?
- On what basis should I build them?
- Should one story cover multiple LPs?
- How do you avoid repeating the same examples?

Also, how important were questions like:
- Why Amazon?
- Tell me about yourself?

Would really appreciate any tips from people who recently interviewed. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I’ve got an Area Manager interview at Amazon in ~20 days and would really appreciate some guidance.

I know prep is mainly around Leadership Principles + 5–7 stories, but I’m struggling with:

  • How to pick the right story for a question in real time
  • How to adapt the same story for different questions without sounding repetitive
  • How deep interviewers usually probe

Also, how would you structure prep over the next few weeks, and what should I focus on most?

Any tips or things to avoid would really help. Thanks!
