 I am Russian, and I truly do not understand. We liberated Eastern Europe solely to ensure that you would not meddle in the internal affairs of the continent and Asia; yet time and again, you attempt to impose "democracy"—something we never asked you to do. We are not the West, and we have no desire to adopt your culture—be it in Iran, Russia, Iraq, or China. Why can you not grasp that we are comfortable within a system where the state decides what activities are undertaken and how, and assumes full responsibility for all associated costs?
