If a so-and-so realizes be a potential pedophile but has never committed a crime, and seeks treatment. Would "so-and-so" be accepted into therapy? Or would the therapist turn it in to the police?

And if he had a daily habit of watching movies like Pretty Baby, lolita and other similar content, and also wrote very explicit, violent, and gory fan fiction in very bizarre contexts such as medieval and dark fantasy worlds and explicit sex with child princesses...

what kind of treatment the therapist will provide to help him break these “habits,”? or would that habits itself actually be what helps the patient control his impulses?
