I was originally considering the 390 Adventure X, but now KTM has launched the new 390 Adventure (349cc) at a much lower price, and it has made the decision confusing.

The gap is roughly ₹60k–₹70k on-road, which is significant.

What surprises me

The new 349cc bike still gets a lot of features:

• TFT display
• Ride modes
• Traction control
• Quickshifter+
• Cornering ABS
• Adjustable suspension
• Tubeless spoke wheels

And it still makes:

• 41.5 PS
• 33.5 Nm

Whereas the Adventure X gives:

• ~46 PS
• 39 Nm
• 399cc engine

My question to KTM owners / enthusiasts

1. Is the Adventure X worth paying ₹60k–₹70k more over the new 349cc model?
2. In real-world riding, how noticeable is the difference between these two?
3. Did KTM just make the new 349cc variant the smarter buy?
4. If you were buying today, which one would you choose and why?

Feels like KTM may have created a value monster with the new launch, but wanted opinions from actual riders.
