How big is Amircan highschool football really? It the movies it's always portrayed as as a really big event with cheerleaders and stuff. Is it actually that important to highschools, aren't grades and education more important. And how important is it to the students, does every highschook student think about playing for a footbaal team at their highschool. As a Belgian student, I was wondering about this system. Because in Belgium we don't have this kind of stuff.

On TikTok there are always videos of Americans who can't point out their own country on a worldmap. This is just an example, but can someone pls explain this stereotype.
