Hi everyone — I’m hoping to connect with anyone who might be dealing with something similar, because I feel like my situation doesn’t fit neatly into one box.

I’ve been trying to conceive for over a year and have been diagnosed with “unexplained infertility“ and have a few things going on hormonally:

  • Hashimoto’s / hypothyroidism (my TSH has been elevated recently and I’m working on adjusting meds)
  • Elevated prolactin levels
  • High AMH
  • Ultrasounds showing a high follicle count on my ovaries

What confuses me is that despite all of this, I do ovulate on my own each cycle.

I feel like I have pieces of different conditions but no clear diagnosis like PCOS, and it’s making the whole process really frustrating and confusing. I’m especially curious if anyone has had a similar combination (thyroid + prolactin + high AMH) and still ovulated regularly.

If you’ve experienced anything like this:

  • Did you end up getting a specific diagnosis?
  • Did treating one issue (like thyroid or prolactin) make a big difference?
  • Were you able to conceive naturally or did you need treatment?

I’d really appreciate hearing any experiences or insights — this process can feel pretty isolating and I’d love to know I’m not alone in this.

Thank you 🤍
