[Help] - 3DS shuts down with a pop after L button is pressed
Hello! A couple of of days ago, my 3DS (original model) has started shutting down with a popping noise whenever the L trigger is pressed. Apart from this, the console functions perfectly (no other button causes this to happen, games still boot up, etc.). The console also retains its date and time after it is turned back on.
Ive looked into it a bit, and found issues like these are often caused by faults in the ribbon cables (correct me if i am wrong). However, I am asking for help with which specific cable(s) I should possibly look into replacing based on this issue with the L button. (Or, alternatively, if this issue should be fixed by other means).
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Note: things I have already tried:
-reseating battery
-reseating current ribbon cables
-cleaning contacts
