Hi r/Perfumes ,

I have been part of this community quietly for a while. You all clearly love this stuff as much as I do so I figured this was the right place to be honest about something.

I spent the last couple of years working on a small collection of fragrances. Seven in total. Some are dark and resinous, some are fresh and green, one is genuinely unisex in a way I am proud of. I just launched quietly and have been too nervous to tell anyone outside my circle.

I am not linking anything or asking anyone to buy something. I just wanted to post somewhere that people would actually understand what it means to spend this much time obsessing over whether a base note is sitting right.

If anyone has gone through something similar or has advice for a first time indie founder I would genuinely love to hear it.

Hi r/Fragrances ,

I have been lurking in this community for a while and I have learned so much from the people here. You are all genuinely knowledgeable and I respect that, which is also why posting this feels a little nerve wracking.

I am the founder of OLIOR, a small indie fragrance brand I launched out of Portland. I have been obsessed with scent for as long as I can remember and after years of wearing everything I could get my hands on, I decided to try building something of my own.

The brand is rooted in a simple idea: that fragrance should feel personal and meaningful, not just expensive. I wanted to create scents that sit close to the skin and tell a story rather than just announce themselves from across the room.

We currently have seven fragrances. Some of them are dark and resinous like NOIR XV and PAPER & SAND. Some are softer and fresher like OASIS 26 and CASABLANCA. N°234 is probably my personal favorite to wear day to day.

I am not here to spam links or push sales. I genuinely want to know what this community thinks. If anyone is curious about the notes or the brand story I am happy to answer any questions honestly.

And if anyone has launched something similar I would love to hear how you navigated getting your work in front of people who actually care about fragrance.

Thanks for reading.
