I’ve been a longtime lurker here and this forum was such a huge help while I was planning my own wedding, so I’d really love to give something back 🤍
I’m originally from Barcelona and got married last year in the Balearic Islands. I planned and designed the entire wedding myself, which was equal parts amazing and slightly chaotic at times 😅 I come from an events background, I used to work in hospitality events and now I’m in corporate event planning, but I really miss creating beautiful, personal celebrations.
Right now I’m in a bit of a quieter season work-wise and have quite a lot of free time, and I’d genuinely love to use that time helping others plan their weddings. None of my friends are getting married anytime soon, so I don’t really have an outlet for it, and I’ve even been toying with the idea of moving into wedding planning at some point. This feels like a really nice way to test the waters while also (hopefully) being useful to some of you.
Just to be clear, I’m not a wedding planner or a vendor offering services. I’m simply a former bride who planned her own destination wedding and happens to have a professional background in events, and I’m happy to share what I learned.
So I thought I’d offer some help, completely free and just because I enjoy it. If you’re planning a wedding in Spain, especially around Barcelona, the Catalonia coast, or the Balearic Islands, I’d be very happy to share a more local perspective. I can help with venue ideas, supplier suggestions, design direction, or even just talking through your plans.
Planning a destination wedding can feel like a lot, and sometimes having someone who knows the area makes things much easier.
There’s no catch and nothing to sell, I just genuinely enjoy this and would love to help 🙂
