I just finished making a 6 day supernova blanket and I love how it turned out so I’m planning on making another in a thicker yarn so I can have a warmer version. I’d like to use Caron macchiato cakes in the color boundless because I really like the colors, but it’s 80% acrylic and 20% wool and says to hand wash only, how do we think it would do if I did decide to machine wash it? I wouldn’t do it often, probably only a couple times a year, but I’d like to be able to since I have a cat that sheds a lot. I’m usually a bit laissez-faire when it comes to washing stuff, I usually figure it’ll probably be fine lol, but just wanted to get other people’s thoughts before I invest a lot of time into making it.
