My current build is a Ryzen 9 5950x, 4070 super, and 64gb of DDR4 RAM 3600mhz. My current motherboard is a MSI tomahawk b450 max. I've had some problems with how power hungry the Ryzen 9 5950x is it can sometimes shut off and the red light on my motherboard would pop up for the cpu. I've since fixed this problem by doing some undervolting of the cpu and changing some speeds around but I'm wondering if getting a better motherboard would be worth it at all for any noticeable performance increase since my friends say the VRM on my current motherboard are pretty low for what i'm running.
