Just got him today, water levels are all down to zero except nitrates which is less than 5 ppm. He will go up for water and sink down but he just slowly moves around the floor in little hops but he rests a while.
Started a 6 gallon cube, maybe a month ago, it was a bit before Easter I believe. It doesn't have a filter bc I wanted to try Walstaad and bc im broke but it has a heater and proper lighting.
Water parameters rn:
Nitrate 0-5 ppm
Nitrite 0-.25 ppm
Ammonia ~0 ppm
pH ~7.6
It's currently stocked with bladder snails (hitchhiked) and two assasin snails. There's a good amount of micro fauna and a whole bunch of detritus worms but I only ever see them on my floaters and driftwood. Also Roberto the Ramshorn but I have no clue where he came from.
