I got this device a couple of weeks ago and it was working perfectly at first. I’m using a Vansuny microSD card, and everything was fine initially.
However, yesterday I started having issues. The device began lagging and freezing — for example, when I selected a song, it wouldn’t play or move forward. Normally I’d just wait it out, but this time it stayed stuck.
I got frustrated and restarted the device. After rebooting, I scanned for songs and it only showed 210 tracks, even though I originally had 334. That didn’t seem right.
I restarted it again and rescanned — this time all my songs showed up again, but none of them would play.
At that point, I removed the SD card and did a factory reset, hoping that would fix things. But after reinserting the SD card, things got even weirder:
- The device says “SD card inserted”
- But when I scan for songs, it says “SD card not found”
I’ve tried:
- Factory resetting multiple times
- Letting the battery fully die and restarting
But whenever the SD card is inside, it refuses to recognize it properly — even though it clearly detects that it’s inserted.
I’m working with just a mobile phone and a limited budget, so this is really frustrating. I’m not sure what’s gone wrong or how to fix it.
Any advice would be really appreciated.
