3a/3b curl, I have torino pro medium soft and soft (2-3 years old), wash 2-3 times a week, and rag up at night. I could brush more but when I do it makes my head oily and itchy.

I’m wavy but need help w the following

tighter waves- new brush? Is it just my curl pattern that won’t tighten? Pause

crown- my hair lays weird at the crown like a cowlick and don’t know how I should be brushing, advice?

connecting waves- it doesn’t always connect at the front of my hair, is this due to my crown not being brushed properly?

Lastly, any advice on products and application process is welcome!
