I was pulled over for speeding (23 over) by a state trooper; he became suspicious of me and I produced my marijuana cartridge voluntarily. Unfortunately, I didn’t know how to handle this in real-time until after. I performed an FST, he let me go. The open container violation comes with a possible 60-day suspension. I imagine there’s also insurance consequences. Should I seek a traffic attorney, fight it myself in court, call the prosecutor, etc.? I’ve heard negotiation could be possible (charge/points reduction for higher fine, file the charge, driver course), and am not sure how to proceed. Any info helps!! Location: NH
