Please help me I’ve been searching for this film for over twenty years and the only result that came up is Cool World but unfortunately that’s not it.
It’s an older film most likely made in the late 50’s early 60’s. It’s kind of in the style of the original version of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty . The story surrounds a cartoonist that drew a woman who came to life. He can tell she’s the cartoon woman because she has no belly button. Sorry things get a bit foggy here but I’ll try as best I can to explain. From what I remember, shortly after he finds out they fall out of a building holding each other I think he lands on her and she’s fine because well she’s a “cartoon”. The next scene I remember they are at a large house with a pool. At one point a man, possibly the cartoonist, is riding two crocodiles like jet skis. I remember a St Johns Wort flower (yellow flower) was given to a man. It’s possible at the end of the film the woman reverts back to her cartoon form but I can’t be certain.
For any fellow Canadians out there it was featured on the late night Bravo channel as a double feature with Barberella.
This has been wracking my brain for over 20 years any help would be greatly appreciated.
