Sooo who else doesn't like conventional relationships?

Hello! My name is Derrick, 21M from looking for a writing partner that, like me, loves fantasy settings, intriguing characters, power dynamics and most importantly doesn't ghost 🙃

In my couple of years of rp experience (both online and with LOTS of D&D) I've learned that detailed and literate stories ALWAYS beat fast and cheap ones, especially if they focus on intriguing character dynamics and have a nice balance between plot and smut!

Think of it as a DIY fantasy novel! Something that could ideally be an inspiration for a book, and full of those tropes that makes dorks like me and you squeal ;)

So, what will this story be about? To put it clearly, anything! I've come to appreciate basically every kind of scenario, but if you're one who likes playing confident, composed and domineering characters who put hyperactive pets in their place, I have EXCELLENT news for you~!

I present to you, Connor! A young kenku with a penchant for fucking around, clinging to those he becomes affectionate with and cause problems :>

His strong instincts and simple mindedness can make him come across as naive, but he's just a wild, curious spirit in search for his place in the world, and if that means meeting new people, that's all the better!

Whoever your character will be, that's entirely up to your preference: Maybe a noble that he ends up meeting in a large city and refuse to get away from? A researcher that becomes fascinated with his unique anatomy? Or maybe someone with deeper personal motives that will use him to reach their goals?

Whichever it'll be, just you know that this bird will be completely yours to scold, protect, bicker with, cuddle, punish and anything in between 💖

Aren't you tired of bland roleplays that only consist of flat, cardboard pieces of characters? Or extensive, tedious paragraphs of nothing? What about partners that suddenly ghost you without any reason?

Creative spurts come out of nowhere, and the one I had came in the form of a longing for a story that would inspire in me the same kind of passion and intrigue I felt from the books I read many years ago, and probably also because of my great passion for D&D and fiction in general. That tenderness mixed with the right dose of wonder that once filled my mind with endless daydreams, stories and characters... If you get what I'm talking about, you'll be a perfect roleplay partner!

In short, I'm mainly looking for someone to be a huge nerd with 😅

Think of it as a detailed, fantasy long-term roleplay with everything a story needs to be good, and filled with all those things dorks like me go crazy for, like being emotionally invested in fictional events, giving characters musical themes and all that jazz!

Being it the classic scenario of an unlikely friendship that can either bloom into something more or end up in tragedy, a harsh rivalry or a simple love story, every kind of scenario and character dynamic is well accepted, no matter how tropey...

... BUT I do have my preferences, and if you're into plots revolving around fatal attraction, seductress-kinds of characters and a healthy dose of ruining good-hearted men with toxic love and affection, you'll have high priority~

Assassins, spirits, faeries or demons - I always had a soft spot for women that could kill me, so if you ever want to, my character is all yours to make him sink, drown in a sea of soft kisses and sweet words that will slowly but steadily end up either destroying or driving him insane, like a drug addict or a fly in a pool of honey. Helplessly attracted to yours despite knowing all too well the consequences, maybe even gaining some power back only to make it all the more painful when you'll take it away from him~💖

Sooo yeah, this will be the general gist :}

⚠️ Last thing to know is that, despite knowing how much people like them, I'm TERRIBLE in playing stereotypically harsh, stoic and no-nonsense characters, much more preferring light-hearted and maybe a little naive ones 🤭

The trip to the spot was always the same, and in those brief moments where the sun peeked through the treetops above his head, he could even feel a resemblance of serenity He tried to hold on to it for as long as possible before THAT sound pierced through his ears like a chilling memento

That chuckle. Crystaline, soft, and dreadful

At first, it seemed almost like a mirage, but the figure he saw moving amidst the foliage became more and more definite. His hand tightened around the pommel of his sword. Time time, he would have sunk that blade right into her neck, he told himself. Ending that nightmare for good so that he never had to listen to that voice again

From occasional glimpses of red and black, he then could then clearly see the outline of her silhouette, darting from one corner of his view to the other and never letting him catch more than a glimpse. It was infuriating

"FIGHT ME!"

He shouted, his raspy voice filling the air

"Stop playing around, and let's end th--!"

Before he could even finish that sentence, she bounded past him in all of her terrible magnificence. He couldn't fully see her figure as an avalanche of long, silken red hair swiped right across his face. Upon impact, a cloud of velvety rose petals wafted from it, and the combined effects of its softness and flowery fragrance made his eyes flutter. She was gone

His hold on the sword loosened, and his trembling lips muttered a weak

"N-no..."

Before the world seemed to slow down

What I'm looking for is someone to craft a story with, and this story will be a tale of obsession, psychological drama, rivalry and anything that makes us gush about our characters :D

Note: THE FOLLOWING IS JUST AN IDEA AND WE CAN CREATE ANY KIND OF PLOT!!

My character, a scrappy adventurer down on his luck, has one goal and one goal only: retrieving the precious treasure that countless legends told about.

Riches beyond the wildest imaginations, that could put an end to his miserable life once and for all... But there is a reason for which no one has ever managed to conquer this feat, and this reason is the entity that guards it

No one knows how it looks, what it sounds like, not even its name. But some people that saw it ramble about something, maybe someone, so magnificent that they couldn't think about anything else, still haunting their dreams and nightmares alike. And those are just the ones that came back to tell the tale.

Enthralled, manic from the mere memory of that being's beauty, they all refer to this entity as a feminine one, and that she will give her treasure to anyone that will best her in a duel. But of course, every foolish adventurer has fallen victim to a crazed love before even coming close to beat her, and now serve as a living warning of what she's capable of

After trying, and failing, our adventurer wouldn't certainly give up after one attempt, right? He will try his hand again, again and again, each time using every skill he has to avoid becoming a tool into her hands, but each time he will fail again, and at some point he won't know if he is still fighting for the treasure, or becoming addicted to her twisted game...

You guessed it right my dear reader, characters that incorporate beauty and danger are my PASSION, and my character is all yours to smother in affection, drive him insane, make him fall in love... or all of those at once 💖
